Penn – Squall Levelwind Star Drag Reels

Description

The PENN Squall II Level Wind is a practical, hard-working conventional family built for anglers who want a dependable star-drag reel with the convenience of automatic line distribution. Its lightweight graphite frame keeps weight manageable, while the forged and machined aluminum spool, marine-grade bronze main gear, stainless pinion gear and HT-100 carbon-fiber drag washers give it the guts for real boat fishing. The Fast Gear Access Sideplate makes routine maintenance far easier than on many conventional reels.

From the compact 15LW through the deep-capacity 50LW, these reels cover a lot of Northeast ground: fluke, sea bass, striped bass, blackfish, trolling and general bait work. The 20 and 30 sizes are the sweet spot for most local boat anglers, and left-hand versions make sense for customers who prefer to hold the rod in their dominant right hand. This is not a boutique jigging reel—it is a useful, affordable level-wind platform that makes fishing cleanly and consistently easier.
